OAA Accredited

Formal accreditation granted by the Argentine Accreditation Body. The results are valid before regulatory bodies and internationally recognized through ILAC-MRA.

Demonstrated Capability

Technical capability verified internally, without current OAA accreditation for that specific test. The results are technically valid but do not carry formal accreditation.

OAA Accredited MCB
Thermal-Magnetic Circuit Breakers

Overload and short-circuit protection devices for residential and commercial installations. Rated currents from 6 A to 125 A.

OAA Accredited MCCB
Molded-Case Circuit Breakers

Circuit breakers for industrial use. Ultimate (Icu) and service (Ics) breaking capacity, temperature-rise, and operational performance tests.

OAA Accredited ACB
Low-Voltage Circuit Breakers

Protection devices for large installations. Ultimate and service breaking capacity. Rated currents above 800 A.

OAA Accredited RCD
Residual-Current Circuit Breakers

Residual-current-operated circuit breakers, with and without overcurrent protection, for household and similar installations.

OAA Accredited XFMR
Power Transformers

Assessment of temperature rise, insulation levels, and performance under external short-circuit conditions in power transformers.

OAA Accredited HRC
High Breaking Capacity Fuses

Industrial blade and cylindrical fuses. Melting current, time-current characteristics, and breaking capacity.

Demonstrated Capability DIS
Disconnectors and Switches

Isolation and switching devices. Verification of making and breaking capability and short-time current withstand.

Demonstrated Capability CON
Contactors and Starters

Switching devices for motor control. Electrical and mechanical endurance, current making, and current breaking tests.

Quality Policy
As a result of applying continuous improvement (kaizen), LEC has established a documented laboratory quality management system in accordance with IRAM 301/2005, or the standard in force when the management system is updated.
It is LEC management policy to:
Efficiently support the national standards, quality, and certification system enacted by the National Executive Branch through Decree 1474/94.
Maintain a high standard of service quality by complying with the international, regional, or national standards applicable to the tests within the laboratory's scope of activity.
Use the Management System, implemented through an ongoing commitment to the guidelines of IRAM 301/2005 (ISO/IEC 17025:2005), as the means to continually strengthen improvement through laboratory management's commitment to good professional practice and test quality, ensuring all services and activities performed by the laboratory.
